Like visiting an old friend
I first saw The Liverpool Legends - Beatles Tribute over 20 years ago at the Hobby Center on Broadway. The same energy was there with the original production and singers/dancers were talented. Sets better represented a junkyard, and of course, they had a live orchestra. The Winter Garden is a smaller theater by about 1000 seats compared to the larger Winter Garden. Sound wasn't as good as I had hoped for, had a hard time hearing the lyrics at times as the piped-in orchestra seemed too loud at times. Don't remember strobe lights and a tire "lifting off" in the current national tour.
